Whether you’re scouting investment trends, tracking competitors, or preparing reports for market research or investor outreach, BiopharmIQ’s Funding Activity module makes it easy to monitor capital flowing into the immuno-oncology space. In this step-by-step guide, we’ll show you how to filter and explore funding events from the past 6 months, covering dozens of companies and key financial milestones to support your pipeline mapping and strategic planning.

🧭 In this quick guide, we’ll walk through how to:

  • Use advanced filters to find relevant funding events

  • Narrow results by date range, funding type, company size, and more

  • Explore detailed funding data, including amounts, investors, and clinical context

  • Save company lists and set up alerts to track future funding activity

🚀 Let’s dive in.

-- Pro Tip: You can follow along using either a free or premium account on BiopharmIQ. --

🔍 Step 1:

💉 Step 3:

Apply Key Filters to Focus on Immuno-Oncology

To track relevant activity in the immuno-oncology space:

  • Happened In: Select Last 6 Months

  • Company Technology Areas: Choose Immuno-Oncology

👉 Click Search

These two filters give you a focused view of companies working in Immuno Oncology that received funding in the last 6 months.

⚠️ Note that this number will change dynamically as funding data gets updated.

Optional Step: Fine-Tune with Additional Filters

Need to refine your results even further? Here are some optional filters worth exploring:

  • Funding Type: Choose Series A, B, IPO, Grant, etc.

  • Minimum/Maximum Funding Amount: Set thresholds to filter out smaller or mega rounds

  • Company Type: Filter by Therapeutic, Contract Research or Manufacturing, Vendor, or Diagnostic

  • Most Advanced Clinical Trial Stage: Target companies at Preclinical, Phase I, II, or III

  • Company # Employees: Useful for sizing up early-stage vs. late-stage players

  • Company Country or Region: Focus on US, EU, APAC, or specific states

💡 Pro Tip: You can also load a Saved Company List if you’ve already tagged a cohort of immuno-oncology companies you're tracking. We used our BiopharmIQ online platform to identify 270+ Immuno-Oncology companies. 👉 Access this free list here.
